Leadership Team

Education has evolved so much in recent years that the stakeholders haven’t still completely come to terms with the new demands the evolution is asking of them. The major role technology has come to play in the way education is enunciated isn’t making the adaptation any easier. The Teaching and Learning process in the twenty first century is undergoing a rapid change that demands the teachers to constantly educate and reeducate themselves in order for them to be relevant and effective at what they do. The role of school leaders is to ensure that their school is ready, in terms of resources which include human, technical, financial and physical, for the everchanging educational landscape. At HUS, we are always at the forefront of new initiatives by anticipating changes and adapting to them effectively through continuous Personal and Professional development for our team of teachers. We consistently make use of the latest cutting-edge research in cognitive neuro science and psychology to come up with targeted teaching practices designed to meet specific learning needs and styles of students. One of the most important stakeholders in our endeavour toward excellence is our parents of HUS. As a school we believe the role of parents in helping their children achieve excellence is as important as the role of teachers. Transparent and timely communication with parents about the progress of their children and involving them productively in contributing to the learning outcomes of their children are powerful practices at HUS. As we continue our journey together in painting a glorious future for our young students, I would like to share an anonymous quote that sums up quite beautifully what we practice at HUS. “We will seek unity in crucial things, diversity in important things and generosity in all things”.

"Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire." - William Butler Yeats. Believing in the transformative power of education, as an educator, my mission is to instill a deep sense of curiosity, creativity, and empathy, empowering students with the knowledge and skills needed to become compassionate global citizens who can contribute positively to thrive in an ever-changing world.

My educational philosophy centers on the belief that every child is distinctive and deserves an enriching learning environment that nurtures their intellectual, emotional, and social development. My aspiration is to establish such a setting where students can realize their full potential. I firmly hold the view that students should not only acquire academic knowledge from each grade they complete but also cultivate a strong foundation of human values and ethics. These personal values contribute to their character development, preparing them to navigate the challenges they may encounter in their future years.
